Week 3 - Low poly, Unwrap & Bake

Week 3 delves into the finer aspects of prop modeling with a focus on texture and efficiency. Starting with an introduction to texel density and low poly breakdowns, you'll explore low poly modeling techniques and optimization strategies.

Week 4 - Texturing

Week 4 elevates your modeling project with a deep dive into texturing. It begins with gathering references specifically for texturing, followed by lessons on building and utilizing smart materials.

Week 5 - Lighting, Presentation and Renders

In Week 5, you'll bring your Eco-Bot to life with final touches and rendering.

Ben Keeling

Ben is currently working as a Senior Environment Artist at Rocksteady Studios in London, UK. He has worked on numerous environments on various AAA productions and projects for over 6-years. He’s worked on titles such as EA’s Need for Speed franchise, Sony’s VR worlds with PlayStation VR, and on Halo Wars 2. His work has been featured on the Algorithmic homepage, Polycount, and CryEngine forums.
